BBQ Carrots rolled in Cheesy Cresent Rolls
It’s just 3 days before Christmas and I’m looking for something quick and easy to eat while I wrap presents. Yes, you read that right. It’s 3 days before Christmas and I still haven’t wrapped any presents! YIKES!
Anyways, this pigs in a blanket recipe is perfect to munch on while I turn on a movie and wrap all of these presents. I have a TON of bbq weenies left in my fridge from one of the many holiday parties I went to this weekend and crescent rolls were on sale this week!
Welcome to the creation of carrot pigs in a blanket.
To start, preheat your oven and get all of your ingredients together. If you don’t have a leftover batch of bbq weenies lying around, whip those up first. Then, assemble the pigs in a blanket by adding 1 bbq weenie to each crescent roll along with your favorite cheese. Roll up all of the bbq carrots and bake them in the oven according to your crescent roll instructions. There you have it, quick and easy vegetarian pigs in a blanket.
Easily make this recipe vegan by leaving off the cheese.
BBQ Carrot Pigs in a Blanket
2 packages of crescent rolls
2 oz of your favorite cheese
16 leftover bbq weenies
Unroll each crescent roll package and separate the rolls. In each roll place a bbq carrot and a piece of cheese. Then roll them all up and bake them according to your crescent roll instructions.
